Academic & Career Preparation
The Faculty of Academic and Career Preparation (ACP) knows that upgrading your education creates opportunities. Whether you are learning English as an additional language or your first language is English, we offer upgrading courses that will help you meet your educational and career goals. We also offer programs for people with diverse learnings, the Employment and Community Studies program and the Learning Communities course. ACP courses can be taken full- or part-time to give you flexibility with your schedule. And with courses offered at KPU Richmond, KPU Surrey, KPU Langley and online you've got lots of options for learning at a location that's convenient for you. Read more here.
KSA (Kwantlen Student Association)
The Kwantlen Student Association is a non-profit organization incorporated under the Society Act, independent of Kwantlen Polytechnic University. The KSA actively seeks out ways to enhance campus life; to ensure that student’s academic rights are upheld; to lobby KPU, the provincial government, and other external organizations to ensure the best possible conditions for students; to deliver student services to enhance their experience and success at KPU; and to be responsible stewards of resources. - resume, cover letter and interview workshops
- individual work search assistance to students upon request
- maintains and updates the Career Connection job posting system
- annually plans and executes Career Days and other job fairs
- assists employers by facilitating on campus recruitment
- provides employers with room rentals to conduct interviews or provide information sessions for students
- connects with employers and students through social networking systems such as Facebook and Twitter

Student Health
The Student Health Promotion department was created in support of the Healthy University Initiative. The department recognizes that wellness is holistic and interconnected, and an iterative approach is required to address key priority areas for the university. As such, Student Health Promotion takes a proactive approach to not only address individual behaviours of KPU students, but also to identify and remove systemic and environmental barriers that impede student health & wellbeing. Work-Study Programs
The Work Study Program at KPU offers part-time job opportunities on KPU campuses for full-time undergraduate students. The program provides financial assistance and career related employment experiences to students with demonstrated financial need.
