Interested in earning credits toward your degree while volunteering with a community agency and getting an opportunity to make employment contacts?
SOCI 4325 is here for you:
SOCI 4325 Sociological Aspects of Community Service is a dynamic and applied course open to students who have an interest in community service, and you do not have to be completing Sociology Minor to take this course. This 6-credit course gives students the opportunity to take your classroom based learning out into the field in the context of volunteering with a community based agency, and make possible employment contacts. Students who have taken Soci 1125 and Soci 2260 or Psych 2400 or Crim 2103 are likely eligible for this course. Please contact Stephen Dooley, instructor of the course, for more information: stephen.dooley@kwantlen.ca.
