GLBL 11011 Credits
Global Competencies: Global Awareness
This course demonstrates one level of a student's global competency focused particularly on developing a curiosity and awareness about the world beyond their immediate environment. Through a portfolio-based assessment, students will show evidence they have achieved mastery of the learning outcomes from reflections on experiences in their academic coursework, local intercultural experience and/or international experience.
Prerequisites: 15 credits from courses at the 1100 level or higher
GLBL 11021 Credits
Global Competencies: Global Perspectives
This course demonstrates one level of a student's global competency focused particularly on recognizing their own and others' diverse perspectives. Through a portfolio-based assessment, students will show evidence they have achieved mastery of the learning outcomes from reflections on experiences in their academic coursework, local intercultural experience and/or international experience.
Prerequisites: 15 credits from courses at the 1100 level or higher
GLBL 11031 Credits
Global Competencies: Languages and Cultures
This course demonstrates one level of a student's global competency focused particularly on developing and demonstrating a commitment to inclusion, participation, and cooperation with diverse audiences. Through a portfolio-based assessment, students will show evidence they have achieved mastery of the learning outcomes from reflections on experiences in their academic coursework, local intercultural experience and/or international experience.
Prerequisites: 15 credits from courses at the 1100 level or higher
GLBL 11041 Credits
Global Competencies: Global Engagement
This course demonstrates one level of a student's global competency focused particularly on demonstrating their ability to translate their ideas and findings into appropriate actions. Through a portfolio-based assessment, students will show evidence they have achieved mastery of the learning outcomes from reflections on experiences in their academic coursework, local intercultural experience and/or international experience.
Prerequisites: 15 credits from courses at the 1100 level or higher
