Why Study Fashion Marketing @ KPU?

  • The Fashion Marketing Diploma is a rigorous, full-time, two-year program. However, you can adjust your elective schedules, so you can finish the program while working.

At the completion of the program, you’ll be ready for a career in the fashion industry including buying, merchandising, branding, forecasting, styling and consulting, public relations, event planning, communications, retail sales, visual merchandising and management. With the Fashion Marketing Diploma, you don’t have to choose between a program that feeds your creativity and a business program that is practical.

Our prospective students are eager to learn about and work in various areas of the fashion industry. They have some experience and knowledge about fashion and wish to build on that passion to develop their marketing and management skills for success in leadership positions.

Program Overview

The Diploma in Fashion Marketing combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience. You’ll learn from well-connected industry professionals and push yourself further than you thought possible.

Our program is selective entry, meaning we accept only the most promising students and give them the individual attention they need to meet their potential.

Through this diploma program, you'll develop the fashion, communications, marketing and business skills needed to launch your career in the fashion industry.

Graduates of the Fashion Marketing Diploma may also apply to the third year of one of KPU’s Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programs, or any faculty of interest.

  • Tuition and Fees

    For information on tuition, please visit our Tuition Estimator. There are also mandatory student fees and other fees that you are subject to. You should also be prepared to spend between $500-800 on project materials, photocopying and printing during the program.

  • Laptop

    In addition to the standard tuition and fees, students entering the Fashion Marketing program should also factor in the cost of a laptop and recommended software to complete projects and course deliverables. Career Information

Fashion marketing is the process of managing the flow of merchandise, from the initial selection of designs to be produced to the presentation of products to retail customers, with the goal of maximizing a company's sales and profitability. Successful fashion marketing depends on understanding consumer desire and responding with appropriate messages, materials and execution of marketing plans.

Graduates of our program have the skills necessary for employment in the creative business services sector, working for apparel companies, retailers, distributors and marketers in a variety of roles:

Many of our graduates are entrepreneurs, leading socially responsible businesses, ranging from lifestyle photography to creative consultancy while others hold management positions in fashion and design-related companies.
