Humanities
Analytical Approaches to Western Humanism
Students will be introduced, via literary works of the imagination as
well as texts with a more theoretical character, to issues connected
with how the modern identity is formed and how it is constituted.
The Religions of India
Students will study the four major religions that originated in India
– Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism – with an emphasis
on scriptural sources. They will also examine the development of
these religious traditions within their socio-cultural and historical
contexts.
