The Computer Information Systems Certificate Program offers a unique practitioner-oriented approach to Systems Support and Software Development. Students will have the option of entering the diploma program in Computer Information Systems upon completion of this certificate. Computer Information Systems courses are offered by the Computing Sciences and Information Systems Department.
General admission requirements apply. Students wishing to complete the program without having to undertake any preparatory courses must enter with English 12 with a B grade or better, or equivalent.
To fulfill the requirements of the Computer Information Systems Certificate Program students must complete all seven courses listed in Group A and any three courses from Group B. BUSI 1215 (Organizational Behaviour I) is highly recommended as one of the selected courses from group B.
Upon successful completion of this program, students are awarded a Certificate in Computer Information Systems.
