Cafeterias and vending are located at all campuses.
Parking & Rates
Parking is limited, and alternate forms of transportation should be considered.
Pay parking is in effect at Kwantlen. All visitors, employees and students at the University College are required to pay to park. The only exceptions are those displaying a valid disabled permit and registered carpools.
Where to park
1. "Reserved" permit holders must park in the lots designated "Reserved".
2. All others must pay at the dispenser or display a "Random Permit" and park in the daily pay parking lots.
Recycling
Kwantlen has a comprehensive recycling program. Contact the Facilities Department for further information.
Safety Standards
Students enrolled in laboratory or shop classes must meet safety standards established by the instructor and Kwantlen University College. Enrolment in a class does not automatically authorize the use of facilities and equipment. This privilege is extended at the discretion of the instructor after the class has received proper safety instruction.
Smoking
Smoking is prohibited in all Kwantlen facilities.
Personal Property
Kwantlen is not responsible or liable for the loss, theft, breakage, etc. of personal equipment, supplies, etc.
Workers' Compensation
Workers' Compensation coverage will be in place during classroom/lab/shop instruction for student apprentices and all students while participating in the practicum component of all programs. A practicum is defined as:
- an integral component of a program which is required for program completion and certification;
- unpaid and supervised work experience which takes place at the host employer's premises or place of business.
Workers' Compensation coverage is not in place for any other students.
