Description
This program prepares students for entry-level employment as automotive upholsterers. Basic theory and related information along with hands-on shop practice will enable students to become competent in basic and custom automotive upholstery work.
Career Opportunities
Employment opportunities exist with automotive body shops, upholstery shops, glass shops, aviation industry and industrial upholstery trimming shops that specialize in a particular area of work, such as restoring cars or custom work.
Admission Requirements
Grade 10 reading comprehension and math skills as assessed by Kwantlen, and satisfactory physical health. Must have a good working knowledge of the English language and a genuine interest in the restoration of automobiles.
