• KPU board of governors - alumni representative. KPUAA is currently seeking an alumni representative to serve on the KPU board of governors for an upcoming term. This is a volunteer leadership role and the prospective candidate would possess executive leadership skills to govern a large organization’s policy and affairs which will add value to the current board. You can view details of this position here and find additional information about the board governance structure at www.kpu.ca/governors. To be considered for this role, please submit your CV and a short biography with your contact information including email, phone number, and address to alumni@kpu.ca by December 31, 2014 at 5:00pm. Applicants will be shortlisted in early 2015 and the appointment date is tentatively scheduled for July 2015.

• Starting Point Student Entrepreneurship Conference is taking place February 18^th - 20^th, 2015 at Saint Mary’s University. The focus of conference activities is to foster innovation while encouraging students to think big and develop revolutionary ideas. For details, click here.

• CADD Alumni Gathering took place on Thursday, December 4th, 2014 at KPU Tech in Cloverdale. CADD 2160 students helped organize the event as part of a class project and KPUAA was a proud sponsor for this event.
