    KPU alumni Vancouver Sun Run team – Kwantlen Polytechnic University Alumni Association is inviting all alumni to join the KPU alumni team at the upcoming 2015 Vancouver Sun Run on Sunday, April 19, 2015. Click here for details.
  • The KPU alumni business chapter is looking for volunteers to get involved with their chapter. If you graduated from a business program at KPU and would like to play a leadership role in this chapter, please email alumni@kpu.ca . For more information about the chapters program, click here.

  • Attention Design Alumni - The Banff Centre’s Practicum Program is offering students and alumni an experiential learning opportunity that connects technical training in the arts with hands-on, real world experiences. Practicum participants learn from an array of sources that include faculty, mentor staff, peers, and the artists creating, producing and performing art at The Banff Centre. Participants receive a full scholarship to cover the program fee, a living allowance, subsidized meals on campus, and have the possibility of subsidized shared housing. We are currently accepting applications for designer – interactive graphicsphotographyeditorvideo, and audio engineer (including post production) practicums. For additional information click here.

  • KPU Open House – Do you know anyone who is interested in attending KPU?  KPU Open House will offer exciting activities such as interactive exhibits, info sessions, education fair, and more! There will be entertainment, food, and fantastic prizes for prospective students at the Surrey campus. Register before February 13th for an additional chance to win great prizes.  February 28th, 2015 from 11:00am - 3:00pm. Details here. Prospective students will have a chance to speak to alumni one-on-one during the event.

  • Project Bloom - KPU Foundation is hosting this year’s annual Project Bloom event. For the last 6 years, Project Bloom has served as a platform for women to empower one another through the meaningful exchange of experiences and expertise. With this event, our goal is to foster partnerships, strategic networking and purposeful fundraising efforts that will help women grow their cohort of powerful resources and support. All ticket sales go toward the Breaking Barriers Endowed Award at KPU. The event will take place on March 6, 2015 from 9:00am-1:30pm. To learn more or purchase tickets, click here!

    Kdocs 2015
    KDocsSpring 2015 Documentary Film Festival will be held on March 14, 2015, at the Vancouver International Film Centre/Vancity Theatre. It will be a full day, including three award-winning documentary films (film synopses and trailers at www.kpu.ca/kdocs), speakers, panel discussions, Q&As, and food/beverages. Registration is open to all KPU students, faculty, staff, alumni, community partners, and the general public. Seats will go fast, so don't delay and register now!   • SAVE THE DATE - Thursday, June 11th, KPU Alumni Association sponsors “Speak like a Leader,” a workshop facilitated by the Humphrey’s Group. This is a special presentation open to public, but KPU alumni receive will receive exclusive benefits at the event. Details to follow.
