What are your primary responsibilities with the RCMP: I manage an Intelligence Unit within the RCMP Federal and Serious Organized Crime Section in B.C. The Intelligence Unit supports the development of various federal investigation intelligence products.

What is your favourite part of the job? Working with people, visioning new processes and initiatives, being creative in responding to issues and surfacing solutions and contributing to public safety in B.C. and Canada.

Who is the most famous person you've ever met? I have had the opportunity to meet many, but the person that has left an everlasting impression is the Dalai Lama.

Where do you see yourself in one, five or 10 years? Continuing with my career in policing and I have a desire to serve in politics as well.

What are you most proud of? My daughters: Onkar and Rasna.

Greatest advice for life? Compassion through everything; react to nothing.

Favourite Kwantlen moment? Looking for buckets to catch the water from the rain in the old campus.

What's the last book you read? I read so much at work that I don’t read books. I read articles that uplift and I love watching movies. The last movie I watched was Lone Survivor.

What's currently on your iPod? Snatam, Mirabei Ceiba, Guru Singh, Kirtan Kaur.
