  • Seeking Alumni Representative for KPU Board of Governors​. KPUAA is currently seeking nominations for an alumni representative to serve on the KPU Board of Governors. At this time, applications are being encouraged from alumni who hold a CPA or equivalent designation. To be considered for this role, please submit your CV and a short biography with your contact information including email, phone number, and address to alumni@kpu.ca by January 15, 2016 at 5 p.m. Applicants should review the additional details about the role that can be found here.

  • KPU needs PechaKucha presenters! The City of Richmond and Kwantlen Polytechnic University are hosting another PechaKucha Night. PechaKucha is a live presentation format based on telling a story with 20 images for 20 seconds each. That's just under 7 minutes. The event will take place on March 31 and include 10 presentations. Represent KPU and show your public speaking skills in front of a front of a very receptive audience at the Richmond campus. For more information email  David Young at david.young@kup.ca .
  • The UN World Interfaith Harmony Week is a multimedia festival celebrating harmony and acceptance among people of all faiths and secular beliefs. Alumni are invited to submit creative work that explores the theme of “Friendship not Fear”.  Work can include creative writing pieces, games, structures, music, visual art, edible art, film, apparel, design, performance arts, and creative projects that promote ways communities celebrate diversity, harmony, and the common good between secular and faith groups. Electronic submissions via email to multifaith@kpu.ca. Physical submissions: please include a general description and display requirements to make arrangement for submission. Submissions accepted until January 27, 2016. 
  • KPU alum Kevin Kokoska is in the process of combining his acting and counselling interests in the form of a one-person play that he will perform on January 14-16th at The Cultch in Vancouver. The play is a fictionalized account of his master’s practicum experience working as a counsellor at an American weight loss camp and addresses themes of body image and privilege with empathic hilarity.
