KPU marketing student wins prestigious industry scholarship
Metro Vancouver, BC – Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) is pleased to announce that marketing student Rashad Khan has been named a recipient of the British Columbia Association of Integrated Marketers (BCAIM) Education Scholarship.
President and co-founder of the KPU Marketing Association, Khan was recognized with a $500 award for demonstrating an exceptional contribution to the marketing community at the University.
“Rashad has demonstrated solid leadership skills in guiding the Association in its inaugural year,” said Rajinder Singh, marketing instructor and faculty advisor to the KPU Marketing Association. “He is very deserving of the 2013 BCAIM scholarship. A great accomplishment!”
Khan was one of five student winners of the scholarship and the only KPU recipient.
"I'm very honoured to receive this scholarship from the British Columbia Association of Integrated Marketers,” said Khan. “This accomplishment comes from the hard work and endless hours I have put into forming the Association. It means a lot to me personally and professionally to be recognized for my contribution to the KPU marketing community.”
