The DAISY Foundation, as part of its service to the nursing profession role in patient care, established the DAISY Faculty Award to provide colleges/schools of nursing a national recognition program that they may use to demonstrate appreciation to their nursing faculty for their commitment and inspirational influence on their students.
The Faculty of Health at Kwantlen Polytechnic University support the views of DAISY Faculty Award and adopted the program to recognize and appreciate the positive influence the members of Faculty of Health can have on nursing students through clinical/practical, theological and Innovative modes of education. Their passion and commitment to students learning and experience shapes and influences the future practice of our nurses.
