Ian Stanwood

Originally from Vancouver, BC, where I attended university, I spent over six years working in Taiwan. There I rode the meteoric rise of the information technology industry with one of Asia’s largest IT companies, honing my international marketing and public relations skills while simultaneously developing a love for teaching language acquisition, academic writing skills, business communication, and inter-cultural communication. Along the way, I have earned a master's in applied linguistics, learned Mandarin Chinese, and acquired over 20 years of post-secondary teaching experience, many of those years with our cherished Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
