I joined KPU in 2021, after teaching for several years in Ontario. My favourite texts are ones that are about themselves: I love art that wonders about what it makes happen in the world. From 2022-2024, I was a Climate+ Challenge fellow because I like to collaborate to make meaning with others. For another example of the kinds of creative collaboration I’m on the lookout for, I was commissioned to write Lines That Open, a chapbook of poems responding to an exhibition at the Surrey Art Gallery.

Some of the journals that I’ve published academic articles in are Discourse and Writing/Rédactologie, University of Toronto Quarterly (the Special Issue on the Creative Humanities), Journal of World Literature, Modern Drama, and Canadian Literature. I’ve also published short works—essays and poems—in publications like The Teaching Professor; The Goose: A Journal of Arts, Environment, and Culture in Canada; Touch the Donkey, and filling Station (fS) Magazine.
