Dr. Myles Creed is a linguist, instructor, and language program consultant living and working on the unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations (Vancouver, BC). He grew up in Northwest, Southeast, and Interior Alaska. He received a BA in Communication from Lewis & Clark College, a MA in General Linguistics from the University of Amsterdam, and a PhD in Linguistics from the University of Victoria. 
Since 2014, he has worked closely with the Iñupiaq language revitalization community, most closely with the Iḷisaqativut language coalition and at the University of Alaska. His academic interests include curriculum development, adult second language acquisition, loanword phonology, grammaticography, language revitalization, and Inuit languages. 
His personal interests include long distance running, hiking, soccer, biking, travel, language learning, politics, and LGBTQ+ activism.
