CGME
Subaltern Voices, Indigenous Knowledge & Liberatory Pedagogy
Global multicentric education seeks to develop multi-dimensional models of teaching that are reflective of the multiplicities of socio-economic-cultural-political factors, relations, and structures locally and globally.
Global multicentric education accounts for the strengths and needs of diverse populations of students and communities in developing educational policies and strategic plans. It accounts for the effects of colonial, post-colonial, nation-building processes, and global capitalism on the education system, curriculum, and the process of textbook production. CGME is inclusive of subaltern voices and indigenous knowledge systems.
