Emily is passionate about beer and brewing science with a particular interest for beer sensory. She is a Certified Cicerone and a Certified Beer Judge in the Beer Judge Certification Program (BJCP). 

After graduating from the KPU Brewing and Brewery Operations Diploma, Emily worked in quality control (QC) at Central City Brewers & Distillers and then as Lead Brewer and QC at Bakery Brewing in Port Moody before starting as a lab instructor at KPU. 

Emily continues to advance her credentials in brewing sensory and often judges at various brewing competitions.
