The growth of craft breweries around the world is creating a demand for educated, trained brewers. Kwantlen Polytechnic University's (KPU) Brewing and Brewery Operations diploma is the only program of its kind in BC, and was the only institution in Canada recognized by the Master Brewers Association for a standard of excellence in brewing education when they ran their evaluation and recognition program.
Our students receive over 950 hours of instruction, including practical, hands-on experience in our award-winning brewery, making it a comprehensive, experiential program.

BREWING DISCOVERY DAY
Experience what it’s like to be a student in the KPU Brewing and Brewery Operations Diploma program on May 27th.
Join us at the KPU Langley Campus brewery to shadow a brewing instructor during a live brew; watch a beer analysis and quality control demonstration in the Chemistry lab; and participate in a mini-sensory class and beer tasting.
