Graduation
Upon successful completion of this program, students are awarded an Appliance Servicing
Description
In this nine-month program, which can be entered in September or November, students will learn to service household appliances. The training prepares the graduate for employment in the appliance industry and in related careers which require electromechanical skills and knowledge.
Career Opportunities
Employment opportunities in this field may be found with department stores, factory services outlets, independent service shops and authorized service depots. Outside of appliance servicing, opportunities are available with companies who service electromechanical products. Many graduates have started their own business. To enhance employment, graduates may require a driver's license, and may need to be bondable.
Admission Requirements
Grade 10 reading comprehension and math skills as assessed by Kwantlen, and satisfactory physical health.

Students will require steel-toed safety shoes, a multimeter, and various other tools.
