Graduate Nurse Refresher

GNUR 1100 cr-16
Theory

Students who have been out of nursing for a minimum of five years will upgrade their knowledge and skills in preparation for returning to active nursing practice. They will complete theory modules in an individualized self-paced process and upgrade skills in a simulated setting.

Supervised Clinical Experience

This course focuses on the clinical application of the concepts and principles learned in GNUR 1100. Learning experiences are in selected clinical areas.

Prerequisites: GNUR 1100

GNUR 1200 cr-5
Preceptorship

Students will apply knowledge and skills learned in GNUR 1100, Graduate Nurse Refresher Theory. They will study full time with a preceptor on a medical, surgical or extended care unit.
