Introduction to Furniture UpholsteryThis course provides the student with theory and practice in foam and fabric estimating. The student will also acquire the fundamental skills in handling fabric, padding and foam as practiced in a variety of furniture industries.
UPHF 1102 cr-8
Furniture Upholstery IIThis course provides training in the fundamental theory and practice of frame and spring systems, wood finishing, cushions, tufting and other fabric related skills.

Furniture Upholstery IIIThis intermediate course teaches the procedures of tufts and flutes, fabric identification, fabric variations and custom layout.

Furniture Upholstery IVThis advanced course provides theory and practice in technical sewing methods, stitching, pleating and vinyl/leather upholstering.

Furniture Upholstery VIn this final course manual skills are refined to industrial standards; trimming, finishing and advanced fabric selection and coordination skills are developed. In-shop sales, pricing and in-shop business practices complete this course.
