Introduction to Auto/Industrial Upholstery Trimming
This course introduces the student to the skills, materials and procedures of the auto-trim trade. UPHA 1101 simulates the work environment of the automotive and industrial upholstery trade.
UPHA 1102 cr-3
Automotive Door Panels
This course trains the students in the customizing, restoration and repair of automobile door panels. Estimation and ordering procedures are also covered.
Prerequisites: UPHA 1101 or sufficient trade related experience as evaluated by instructor
UPHA 1103 cr-8
Auto and Industrial Seats
This course trains students in the customizing, repair and restoration of seats in automobiles and industrial vehicles.
Prerequisites: UPHA 1102 or sufficient trade related experience as evaluated by instructor
UPHA 1104 cr-4
Auto Carpets
This course trains students in the repair and replacement of auto carpets. Trade terminology is emphasized.
Prerequisites: UPHA 1103 or sufficient trade related experience as evaluated by instructor
UPHA 1105 cr-4
Auto Glass
This course trains the student in the removal and installation of glass in automobiles and commercial vehicles. Glass identification and ordering procedures are covered as well.
Prerequisites: UPHA 1101 or sufficient trade related experience as evaluated by instructor
UPHA 1106 cr-3
Automotive Headliners
This course trains the student in removal, fabrication and replacement of automotive and industrial headliners. Students fabricate headliners to custom and manufacturers' specification.
Prerequisites: UPHA 1103, 1105 or sufficient trade related experiences as evaluated by instructor
UPHA 1107 cr-6
Automotive Vinyl Tops
This course trains the student in the removal, fabrication and replacement of automotive vinyl tops.
Prerequisites: UPHA 1106 or sufficient trade related experience as evaluated by instructor
