Introduction to Welding
This course is an introduction to the welder training program in the province of British Columbia. It also familiarizes the student with the basic hand and power tools and the application of WHMIS regulations and procedures in the welding trade.

Oxy-fuel Gas Cutting
Oxy-fuel process is widely used for the cutting of mild and low carbon steels. WELD 1102 teaches the student to cut plate and pipe smoothly and accurately with hand-held torches and machines.

Gas and Braze Welding
This course trains the student in the skills of fusion welding, brazing and braze welding of mild steel. These skills will lead to mastery of more advanced welding techniques. Safety is emphasized in this introductory course.

Shielded Metal Arc Welding I
Shielded metal arc welding is widely used in industry. One of the principal courses in Level C training, WELD 1104 covers equipment, electrodes, techniques and safety.
