The Accounting Society of Kwantlen (ASK), Accounting faculty, Melville School of Business & the KPU Career Development Centre have partnered to host this inspiring networking event for the past decade.

Purpose: Connecting current KPU accounting students with accounting professionals like you, to learn about your experiences within the industry.

EVENT DETAILS

When: Friday, November 15, 2024 | 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. PT

1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. | Welcome Reception and Registration
Location: Surrey Campus, Cedar 2110 Board Room A
An opportunity for guests to connect with KPU faculty, KPU administration, and other CPA guests with some hors d’oeuvres and music to enjoy.

2:00 p.m. - 2:20 p.m. | Welcome and Keynote Address
Location: Surrey Campus, Cedar Conference Centre
The welcome message and keynote address will take place in the Cedar conference center with all attendees to kick off the event.

2:20 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. | CPA Networking Roundtable
CPA guests and groups of 5-6 students will be assigned to the initial tables. After 15 minutes, the students will rotate tables. This will occur for four total rotations.

3:30 – 3:45 I Open Networking
Students will have the opportunity to open a network with a CPA guest they wish to speak with further or with a CPA guest they have not yet had a chance to connect with. CPA guest table locations will be displayed on our main screen. Sizes of groups may vary during this session.

3:45 – 4:00 I Closing Remarks and Tuition Prize Draw
The closing remarks and tuition prize draw will occur to wrap up the event.
