Join KPU International for a day at Whistler Olympic Village

Join us for an exciting day trip to Whistler, one of the most iconic destinations in British Columbia! Whether you’re into breathtaking views, outdoor adventures, or simply looking for a break from campus life, this trip has it all. This is a LIMITED SPOT event, and registration is REQUIRED. Please read all important details below.

Ticket Purchase and Mandatory Waiver Info:

  • How much does the ticket cost?

    • $20 per student + GST


What to Expect:

  • Scenic Drive: We’ll travel the famous Sea-to-Sky Highway, winding through Howe Sound and up into the stunning Coast Mountains. The views will be nothing short of spectacular!
  • Shannon Falls: Make sure to have your cameras ready as we stop at the incredible Shannon Falls—an absolute must-see!
  • Whistler Village: Arrive in Whistler Village where your guide will lead you on an exploration of the vibrant, world-renowned resort town. Enjoy the mountain atmosphere, shop local boutiques, and maybe even grab a bite to eat!
  • Where do I purchase the ticket?

    • KPU Surrey, International office: Cedar Building, Room 1145, 12666 72 Avenue, Surrey, BC V3W 2M8
  • When can I purchase the ticket?

    • Sales will be open from Feb 18 - Feb 28 (depending on ticket availability)
    • The office is open Monday-Friday, from 9am-4pm, except statutory day closures. We are also closed during lunch break between 12-1pm. 
    • Please note that ticket sales may not be available at all times, as they are sold in person. Unforeseen circumstances may occasionally cause delays in service. We appreciate your understanding and patience in such situations.
  • How many tickets can I buy?

    • Each student can only buy one ticket for themselves. Non KPU students (e.g. friends or family) are not allowed at this event or to participate in this event 
  • What payment methods are accepted? What about Refunds?

    • Credit/Debit Card payments only. We are unable to accept cash payments.
    • All tickets are FINAL SALE. No are unable to process refunds
  • Requirements for Ticket Purchase:

    • You must be an active KPU student (enrolled in Spring 2025 classes)
    • Present 2 pieces of ID:
      • KPU student ID Card
      • Government-issued ID (e.g., driver’s license, passport).
  • Important!  Mandatory Waiver Information:

    •  KPU Liability Release , KPU Photo Waiver and Provider Waiver . All must be signed at the time of ticket purchase or in advance (see below) and brought to KPU points of sale.
      • If you are under 19 years of age, the special waiver and digital consent form must be signed by your parent or legal guardian PRIOR to purchasing the ticket and brought to the point of sale. You can print out the forms below, sign them or let your parent sign them and bring it to KPU International office to purchase your ticket.
  • Tickets are limited—make sure to grab yours before they sell out!


Important Event Arrival Information:

Students MUST arrive on time or earlier (no later than 8:00 AM on the day of the event). Our staff reserves the right to refuse access to any late attendee without explanation.

The meeting point is KPU Surrey campus, Parking Lot S1. If you commute to the campus by car, please make sure you pay for KPU Parking on that day.

While on the bus, students must listen to the staff guide and respect the privacy and comfort of other students. The use of musical devices or singing on the bus is strictly prohibited.

During additional stops and on the way back, students must return to the bus at the scheduled time to maintain the trip schedule. Any student who is late returning to the bus without a valid reason may need to arrange alternative transportation at their own expense.

A limited selection of complimentary breakfast snacks and drinks will be offered during the bus trip.

Since the trip is in March, it may be quite cold during the morning gathering and throughout the day. Please dress warmly and appropriately for the weather.

  • Squamish Lil’Wat Cultural Centre: $18/adult (19+); $10.50/youth (13-18 yrs)
  • Ziptrek Eagle Tour: $170/adult (12+ yrs)
  • Bungee Jumping (including shuttle): $161/person
