As international students, we understand you have a lot of questions when tax season comes. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered!
On Thursday, July 18th, 2024, at 9 AM, we are hosting a live Tax Webinar specifically for international students. During this 45-minute session, an officer from the Canada Revenue Agency will answer common questions such as:
- Do I have to pay taxes?
- What types of income are taxable?
- Am I eligible for child benefits, GST credits, renter credits, and more?
- Suggesting different ways to file your taxes and tips on how to avoid scams.
For new international students, did you know that you’re eligible for certain benefits and credits as soon as you arrive in Canada, even before filing your first tax return?
There is also a Q&A session at the end where you can ask questions about your specific case.
