Amazon Interdisciplinary Field School 2013

Visit the Amazon Rainforest of Colombia and experience first hand the Calanoa project which is working towards a model of sustainable living in the Amazon forest. Participate in a multitude of interdisciplinary and cultural experiences, and bring to your studies a renewed depth, purpose, and global awareness.

Explore local materials and design. Meet with local crafts and arts masters. Meet with a Shaman and understand a glimpse of his vision of the world. Search for river dolphins by the Peruvian shore. Hike through the forest at the Natural Park and boat down the Amazon.

Cost:
The program fee is $2200 and includes accommodation, in-country transportation, field trips, and most meals. Flight, personal expenses, additional meals and tuition and fees are not included.
