Join Kwantlen's Community and Health Studies Field School and broaden your global perspective by experiencing the Panjabi culture and language first hand with your fellow classmates and Kwantlen faculty. On this field school you will have the opportunity to co-learn with Indian students and implement projects to improve Global Health.
Enjoy many famous attractions such as: the Golden Temple (yes, it is 24 Karat gold), Anandpur Sahib, Chandigarh (a designed city) and Haveli. Co-learn with Indian students and implement projects to improve the social determinants of health.

Classes at Kwantlen | June 15th–June 28th

Return to Vancouver | July 22nd*
*Students will return to Kwantlen for one week of classes and debriefing.
Cost:
The program fee is $1200 and includes accommodation, in-country transportation, field trips, and all meals. Flight, personal expenses, extra meals and tuition and fees are not included.
Classes Offered:
Students will earn one 5 credit Field School credit course as well as a 3 credit Global Theory course focusing on the determinants of health in Canada and abroad and a community placement in India.
Pre-requisites:
Students from all disciplines are welcome. Completion of 60 undergraduate credits or permission of the instructor is required to register in this field school.
