The Merit Scholarship
1. must be a graduating high school student entering Kwantlen for the first time from one of the following School Districts: Langley, Richmond, Ridge Meadows, Surrey or any other BC District
2. must present a minimum 80% average based on the top four academic Grade 12 courses, one of which must include English
3. must demonstrate leadership, community involvement and volunteerism

1. enrolling in a four-year program at Kwantlen (minimum 12 credits in courses 1100 level or higher)
2. required to maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.0 for the duration of the award period

- one award for each of the six Districts
- $5000 received each year over four years
 
Total Award:  $20,000

- award payment will be divided between the September and January semesters
