Before KPU became a university, Langley artist Julie Bourne took a hand building clay course at then Kwantlen College. Currently, she is working on raku pottery poppies in honour of Remembrance Day.
Her skills, savvy and style have caught the attention of Staples. Fourth-year interior design student Kelsey Reddekopp received one of six national scholarships for her corporate design project.
