Robert Wood

 

Robert is an instructor in the Entrepreneurial Leadership Program as well as the Computer Business Systems Department, and teaches the Management of Information Technology and Microsoft Office courses.  He is involved in activities outside the classroom, currently being a member of the Creating Our Future initiative which is developing a vision of what Kwantlen will become in the next eight to ten years.  He graduated from the Simon Fraser Executive MBA program in 1986.

Prior to joining Kwantlen, Robert was involved in the IT business world for forty years.  He spent several years graduating through the ranks of programming, analysis, project management and senior business consulting.  For the last fifteen years of that time he was self employed as a project manager and senior business analyst.  His clients included BC Tel (now Telus), NorthwesTel, The Brick, Placer Dome, ICBC and Island Paper (now Domtar Vancouver Mill).

Outside of school, Robert practices as a qualified Life Coach as well as a distributor of health supplements, and enjoys gardening and caring for his dog and two cats.
