Michael Leonard

Michael Leonard received his BA and MA in Economics from Simon Fraser University. He has been teaching economics since 1990 here at Kwantlen and, at various times, Douglas College, Capilano College, Langara College and BCIT. His areas of interest include Money and Banking, Financial Institutions and International Economics. His research interests include Economic Education and Financial Products, including the secondary market for Life Settlement contracts.

Michael is an avid golfer, though not a good one. He also enjoys fishing, baseball, running, coffee and travel - preferably to the "little latitudes". He is an unapologetic Parrothead and the proud father of four boys.
