Who Should Pursue a Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Human Resources Management?
We've designed our program for adult learners with a bachelor-level degree, such as mid-level managers wanting to upgrade their skills or career professionals looking to transition into the human resources field.
This program also offers an opportunity for international students with a degree looking to upgrade their skills and obtain a Canadian credential or wanting to leverage their educational experience to ready themselves for work in the Canadian marketplace and obtain their permanent resident status.
Program Details
The Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Human Resources Management is a 42-credit program with two (6 credit) post-baccalaureate level, general management courses that allow you to develop business-related critical thinking and analysis skills.
You'll also complete 11 courses (36 credits) concentrating in Human Resources Management areas of study, developing strong technical skills in the areas of Human Relations, HR Communications, Total Rewards, Labour and Employee Relations, Health and Safety, Talent Acquisition and Management, Organizational Development, and HR Strategy.
There is a Co-operative Education option available, requiring you to take an additional 10 credits of Co-operative Education courses. Visit Co-operative Education for more information on co-op and program requirements.
*You can complete the diploma in 16 months full-time or 24 months on a part-time basis.
**If you graduate with a 2.67 GPA in your HRMT courses you can try for an exemption from writing the CPHR National Knowledge Exam and obtain your CPHR designation following three year of professional level human resource experience.
