Are revenues flat? Is business growth overwhelming? You have a great business idea, but you’re unsure how to realize it? Many entrepreneurs face tough questions like these every day. They might have a vision of what their successful business venture looks like, but stumble as they try to make it happen. Now there’s help from the BackPocket CEO. For over 20 years Cameron Herold, founder of BackPocket CEO and former COO of 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, has been speaking to, coaching and helping entrepreneurs build companies to fulfill their vision.
Hosted by Kwantlen University Alumni Association (KUAA), Herold will deliver his unique and highly acclaimed Leadership and Growth Strategies for Great Companies seminar at the Kwantlen Polytechnic University Richmond Campus Conference Centre on March 3, 2010. Herold is one of the country’s most innovative business leaders and was a leading force behind one of the most successful businesses of the decade, 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Currently, Herold mentors companies in Switzerland, Germany, the UK, USA and Canada.
“Kwantlen commands a reputation for producing graduates with outstanding professional skills and the drive to succeed,” said Herold. “That is particularly important in the increasingly complex world of business and entrepreneurial management.”
Open to all, early bird tickets for the breakfast event, which starts at 7:30 AM, are $15 for Kwantlen students, $30 for Kwantlen alumni and $45 for the general public. Herold has donated his speaking time in order for proceeds to go toward the creation of a bursary for a Kwantlen business student enrolled in the entrepreneurial leadership program.
“I am honoured to be able to connect with Kwantlen alumni, Kwantlen students and the business community while being able to help a student that, without support from those of us in a position to give back, may not otherwise have a chance to realize his or her entrepreneurial dreams.”
Recognizing the importance of “paying it forward,” Herold is currently working on a model for a non-profit organization to help low income families, single mothers and those with disabilities, who have an entrepreneurial idea. As founder of the organization, he will provide guidance and support at no charge to help his clients grow their companies and become successful.
