NCAA Bengals to take on KPU Eagles in men's hoops

(Metro Vancouver, BC) The KPU Eagles men’s basketball team will be kicking off their 2010-11 campaign with a match-up against NCAA Division I Idaho State University (ISU) Bengals. The team from ISU is travelling through Metro Vancouver and KPU is their second stop on the tour.

"This is a great opportunity," says head coach Bernie Love. "We have a really great line-up for this year’s team, so we are excited to have the chance to test our skills against a Division I school."

The feature match will take place at the KPU Gymnasium in Surrey on August 18th, 2010. Tip-off is at 7:00pm and tickets will be sold in advance: $10 for adults, $6 for kids under 12. Space is limited. Tickets can be purchased in-person at the Department of Athletics and Recreation, Surrey campus, or by phone at 604.599.2980. All proceeds will help support the men's basketball team as they begin their 2010-11 season in the BC Colleges Athletic Association.
