Indian Writers Festival

Kwantlen proudly hosted the Indian Writers Festival as part of the Year of India in Canada 2011 celebrations at our Surrey campus on October 28. As part of the festival, a group of eminent Indian authors, sponsored by the Indian High Commission to Canada and all fellows of the Sahitya Akademi, India’s National Academy of Letters, visited our campus for a day full of presentations and readings. The Indian Writers Festival ran from Oct 26-28 and was hosted in partnership by University of British Columbia, University of Fraser Valley, Kwantlen Polytechnic University and the Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute.
