KPU proud to be named a BC Top Employer – again!

(Metro Vancouver, BC) – For the seventh consecutive time, Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) has been recognized as a top employer in BC.

“We are extremely proud that KPU has once again been recognized as one of BC's Top Employers,” said Dr. Alan Davis, president and vice-chancellor, KPU. “Such recognition would not be possible without the dedication and commitment of our internal Kwantlen community and their contributions to KPU’s university life.”

The selection of BC's Top Employers is based on performance in several areas, including: physical workplace; work and social atmosphere; vacation and time off; employee communications; training and skills development; community involvement; and health, financial and family benefits. Employers are compared to other organizations in their field to determine who offers the most progressive and forward-thinking programs.

KPU continues to evolve as a progressive university comprised of several diverse professions including, faculty, librarians, counsellors, facility and technology personnel, administrators, and front-line student service staff. Members of the university community make a positive difference through teaching, volunteering, support services and community engagement.

Now entering its ninth year, BC's Top Employers is an annual competition organized by the editors of Canada's Top 100 Employers. This special designation recognizes the British Columbia employers that lead their industries in offering exceptional places to work. For more information please visit: CanadasTop100.com/bc.
