Richmond, B.C. - The countdown to B.C.'s biggest student fashion show has begun, and all eyes are on the stars behind the curtains.
In six weeks, 39 emerging designers will showcase their capstone collections at the 2015 Fashion Show - a premiere fashion industry event presented by Tamoda Apparel at Richmond's River Rock Casino.
Today, Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) fashion marketing students launched the Georgia Straight's Designer Spotlight blog, which will showcase the university's graduating fashion design and technology students as they prepare their lines for the runway. Wednesday through Sunday, check in for photos, designer Q&As and a sneak-peek of what to expect April 9.
While the show has grown into a must-see university event and a night (or afternoon) to remember, it's also a celebration of four years of hard work, dedication and rigorous design education.
