Forty business students from Langara, Douglas, VIU, and KPU enjoyed a lively evening of networking with employers, at the Fab 40 event last Thursday, which took place at Steamworks in downtown Vancouver. Students conversed with employers such as Bench Accounting, Orca Pacific Alliance, Steve Nash Fitness World and Sports Club, TransLink, CIBC, Vancouver Whitecaps FC, and Canfor--to name a few. Speaker, Scholar, and Storyteller, Sam Thiara, shared an inspirational message with students, encouraging them to pursue their passion. It was an engaging evening that would not have been complete without Steamworks continuous supply of delicious appetizers!
