A new partnership between Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) and Green River College (GRC) will allow students south of the border to easily transfer into a degree program at KPU.
The agreement with GRC, located south of Seattle in Washington state, opens the door for GRC students to pursue a bachelor of arts degree or a bachelor of business administration degree.
“KPU continues to expand opportunities for today’s students. With this agreement, KPU is providing a new pathway for GRC learners to succeed and achieve their higher education goals,” says Zainab Al-koubaisi, Director of Global Engagement, KPU International.
Under the agreement, eligible GRC graduates can seamlessly transition to KPU for their continued studies. GRC students may also explore admission into other bachelor programs at KPU beyond an arts or business administration degree. The number of transfer credits is subject to their chosen program.
This collaboration fosters an educational pathway that empowers students to take bold strides toward their academic and professional aspirations.
“Our partnership with Kwantlen Polytechnic University will give Green River students a tremendous opportunity to get the hands-on skills and education they need to be successful," says Dr. Wendy Stewart, Vice-President of International Programs and Extended Learning at GRC. "We are proud to team up with KPU to expand their higher education choices in Canada."
GRC was founded in 1965 and is a government-funded college whose main campus is located in Auburn, Wash. It serves more than 9,300 students, with nearly 750 international students from more than 60 countries
