About the Students
KPU Brewing students Aiden Doody and Michael Law both love chocolate, hazelnuts and stouts, hence Dark Haze was born.
Aiden has a Bachelor of Business Administration and loves the craft beer industry, so he felt brewing was an environment he could really thrive in. He’d like to pursue a marketing position in a brewery, combining his business degree with his brewing education. An avid adventurer, Aiden is often outdoors snowboarding or climbing when he’s not studying or working at Brassneck Brewery in Vancouver.
Michael has a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and grew up in Hong Kong, then attended high school and university in the UK. He was interested in the process of making beer, even though he didn’t fully appreciate drinking beer until he learned more about different styles and sensory analysis. When Michael isn’t in school or working part-time for St. John’s Ambulance, you can find him playing video games or on the slopes skiing with friends and family.
