Community Engagement
Our campuses evolve. This can affect our on-campus community, along with our campus neighbours. Campus and Community Planning hosts community engagement activities to invite KPU’s students and employees to provide input into each major planning and capital project. We also maintain relationships with local Indigenous communities and local, regional, provincial and federal governments through various ongoing engagement efforts.
Transportation at KPU
Throughout April 2024, KPU's Campus and Community Planning team visited each campus to seek input on the development on KPU's first Transportation Demand Management (TDM) Strategy. The TDM Strategy aims to shape how students, faculty, and staff travel to and from campus by supporting people to reduce drive-alone commuting trips.

Winter 2024 Open Houses
Throughout January 2024, KPU’s Campus and Community Planning team visited each campus to seek input on a range of exciting projects including future student housing, KPU Communities Trust, and sustainable transportation at KPU. We would like to thank the students, faculty, and staff members who took the time to share their ideas, priorities, and experiences during these engagement activities.
