KPU Collective
Starting university can be overwhelming, but the KPU Collective Peer Mentorship Program is here to help! The KPU Collective is here to support you as you navigate your first year and is a fantastic way to engage with the KPU community and make new friends.
Through this program, you will be connected with a small group of fellow new students and an upper year student leader (Peer Mentor). You'll have the chance to build a community, learn about campus resources, and receive tips on getting involved at KPU.
If you have any questions, check out the "Frequently Asked Questions" section below or reach out to us at orientation@kpu.ca.

Frequently Asked Questions:
The KPU Collective is a peer mentorship community where new domestic students connect with others entering their first year at KPU. When you sign up, you’ll be grouped with other new students (Mentees) who are led by a senior student leader (Mentor), creating a Collective who are in a shared faculty. Your Mentor will support your first-year experience by hosting social events and assisting with navigation of campus resources.
Peer Mentors will connect with their group of first year students regularly to help support their transition to KPU. Peer Mentors will also facilitate regular fun events and other opportunities to connect with their Collective. At the end of the semester, you'll have developed your own community here at KPU and have built connections that may last well past the end of your first year.
KPU Collective is a great way to meet fellow KPU students who are just starting their journey with us. We know how exciting starting university can be, but we also know it can be nerve-wracking and we want to help you make this transition fun and informative. By signing up for KPU Collective, you'll be connected to other new, like-minded KPU students, while receiving tips, stories and guidance from upper year student leaders based on their own KPU experiences.
