Three Ranges Brewing Company has been around for a decade and was among the first few craft breweries in Northern BC. If you are looking for a small mountain town lifestyle and the opportunity to play a key role in producing quality beer this could be the position for you.
Three Ranges is a hub for the local community and is known for its consistently approachable and drinkable beers. We are small, but growing, and we are looking to hire an experienced brewer to become a key part of our team.
Valemount is a beautiful mountain town with many exciting outdoor opportunities. A highlight is the Valemount Bike Park, an outstanding mountain bike trail system with something for everyone.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Brewer is a full-time position responsible for all aspects for beer production: to produce wort, cellar work, beer finishing, cleaning, and packaging.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Brewhouse operation: including wort production, cleaning of lauter tun, grain milling, and weekly brewhouse CIP as needed
Cellar operations: transfers, carbonation, CIP
Use proper cleaning and sanitation procedures
Perform Proper yeast management
Maintain proper awareness and adherence of SOP’s
Maintain cleanliness and organization
Maintain draft lines / beer coolers
Assist on the packaging line as needed
Shipping and receiving both raw and finished goods
Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities as needed
Experience & Skills:
The ideal candidate will have a formal brewing education and/or 2 years of experience in a production brewing environment, however this is not a requirement.

Physical Requirements:
Lift 55 lbs. from ground to shoulder high.
Lift 110 lbs. from ground to waist high and moving 150 lbs. along the floor.
Climb stairs, ramps, and ladders up to or exceeding 20 times per day.
Read, write and calculate basic algebra

Work Hours:
Shifts may be long or unpredictable shifts. Work revolves around objectives, projects, and priorities, not hours. Must be flexible to work nights and weekends, when required.
Pay Range: Wage/Salary will be based on experience
