Areas of Interest

I have been teaching genetics at KPU since 1995 (intro, molecular and human genetics). I'm currently the instructor for our research project courses, and have the privilege of working with the supervisors and helping each research student succeed in their project. My research uses the nematode Caenorhabditis elegans as a model organism, and I have supervised several different types of worm projects. Most recently, we have been working on gene editing using CRISPR in C. elegans.
