Areas of Interest

I am passionate about nurturing student curiosity in the process, people, and societal impacts of science. My research has spanned a wide range of ecological topics, from studying the behaviour of individual species to examining the globally significant impacts of climate change. In both my research and teaching, I use diverse methods, including leading field studies that use animal tracking technologies, incorporating quantitative models and lab experiments, and employing student-led teaching strategies.
