After graduating from Dalhousie University with a degree in Marine Biology, Trina continued work in a Micro-Algal Production and Evaluation Laboratory in the Oceanography Department where she became the Lab Manager and Lead Research Assistant on several industrial research projects within one year of her contract. Trina has continued to grow her career as a Lab Supervisor in other areas and now supervises the biology lab staff at KPU.
