Assistant Brewer

We are seeking a skilled Assistant Brewer to join our team. The Assistant Brewer will be responsible for producing high-quality beer throughout the brewing process, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in all aspects of the brewing process, including brewhouse procedures, fermentation control, and conditioning. 
• Aid in the packaging of beer, including keg washing, filling and canning operations. 
• Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations.

Experience & Skills:

• Previous experience in the brewing industry or similar production environment is preferred but not required. 
• Relevant brewing education preferred. 
• Strong understanding of brewing science and processes. 
• Ability to work unsupervised. 
• Ability to lift 25 kg (55lbs) bags of grain and move 63 kg (139 lbs) kegs of beer. 
• A passion for sanitation and maintaining a clean, organized and orderly work environment.

Pay Range: $22-24/hour
